How FocusEdu works

Every practice decision starts with evidence.

FocusEdu follows one connected loop: diagnose the current gaps, practise the highest priorities, explain mistakes, retest the learning, then tell families what comes next.

Important before you subscribe

“About 20 questions” describes a normal daily practice session. The initial two-subject diagnostic setup is longer and must be completed before targeted practice begins.

The learning loop

Six connected decisions, not six disconnected features.

01

Establish the baseline

The student completes separate Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills diagnostics. This initial setup is longer than a normal practice day because it needs enough evidence to identify useful priorities.

Student

02

Rank the learning priorities

FocusEdu combines category accuracy, timing, recent mistakes, and current mastery to identify what needs attention first.

System

03

Build the next practice

From the next Sydney calendar day, an approximately 20-question formal practice set targets weak categories and any learning due for retesting.

System

04

Explain the mistakes

After practice, students review the correct approach and why the wrong options fail. Explanations turn an answer into something reusable.

05

Retest before calling it stable

A weak category returns later. One correct response is not treated as mastery until the learning holds over time.

System

06

Translate progress for parents

Automatic reports explain completion, movement, remaining priorities, and the next recommended action in plain language.

The 6+1 calendar

What the first week actually looks like.

Initial setup

Complete both subject diagnostics

The first paid learning cycle waits for both diagnostics before its Sydney-calendar clock begins.

Next available day

Targeted practice opens

The first personalised practice set uses the new diagnostic baseline.

Six practice slots

Practise, explain, and retest

Each available calendar day has one focused task. Missed days are skipped rather than becoming a stressful backlog.

Cycle close

Report and refresh

The weekly report records completion such as 4/6 days and updates the next recommendation set.
